Summary

AEO Radar is a stateless web tool that scans a public URL you provide and returns a score. We do not require accounts and do not retain scan results after the response is delivered to your browser. The site uses Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic; details are in the Analytics section below.

Information we receive

When you submit a URL to be scanned, the following information is processed in memory to deliver the response:

  • The URL you submitted, normalized to a valid web address.
  • Standard HTTP request metadata sent by your browser (IP address, user agent, request timestamp). This is handled by our hosting provider for the lifetime of the request and is subject to that provider's own logging policies.

We do not ask for your name, email, or any other personal information.

What we do with it

The submitted URL is used solely to fetch your homepage and a small set of public discovery files (/robots.txt, /llms.txt, /sitemap.xml, /favicon.ico), parse the responses, compute a score, and return the result to your browser. The result is not saved, shared, or used for any other purpose.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising.
  • We do not build profiles of individual users or visitors.
  • We do not retain scan inputs or outputs after the API response is delivered.
  • We do not run fingerprinting scripts or session-replay tooling.

Analytics

AEO Radar offers Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure aggregate usage of the site — for example, how many people visit a given page, which referrer brought them, and what country/region the traffic comes from. GA4 is opt-in: when you first visit the site, a small banner asks whether you want to allow analytics. Nothing is loaded until you choose, and your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key aeo-radar-consent.

If you accept, the site loads a script from googletagmanager.com and GA4 sets a first-party _ga cookie in your browser to distinguish anonymous sessions. GA4 collects standard interaction signals (page views, referrer, user agent, approximate geolocation derived from IP, and a GA-generated client identifier) and sends them to Google. GA4 does not log full IP addresses to its reports, and we have not enabled advertising features, demographics, or Google Signals on this property.

We do not link analytics data to any personal information, and we do not have personal information to link it to. The data is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy. If you reject, no GA scripts are loaded and no GA cookies are set. You can change your decision at any time using the controls below; if you switch from accepted to rejected, this page will reload and the existing GA cookies will be cleared.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on a third-party platform that operates the servers handling your request. That provider may log standard technical information (such as IP addresses and request paths) for operational and security reasons, governed by its own privacy policy.

When you submit a URL, we make an outbound HTTP request to that URL on your behalf. Our server identifies itself with the user agent AEORadarBot/1.0 (+https://aeo-radar.app). The destination site's logs may record this request and your scan's effect on its server side is subject to that site's policies.

Your rights

Because we do not store personal data tied to you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. Standard request logs held by our hosting provider are governed by that provider's own retention and erasure policies.

Children

AEO Radar is a developer tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the service after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
